SMART FARMING: Contexto e desafios

Resumo

Em um contexto marcado pelo aumento substancial na demanda por alimentos, fibras e combustíveis e por maiores cobranças dos stakeholders do agronegócio por produtos mais sustentáveis, a agricultura inteligente (Smart Farming) se apresenta como uma possível solução. Este estudo, ainda em estágio exploratório, busca evidenciar na literatura sobre a temática, a evolução contextual da agricultura inteligente e seus principais desafios. Empregou-se uma revisão sistemática integrativa de publicações disponíveis nas bases de dados Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct, Spell, Scielo e Google Acadêmico, abrangendo somente artigos científicos em revistas de alto impacto. Os resultados sugerem que os principais desafios para o desenvolvimento da agricultura digital são: Intensificação Sustentável; Limitações de Processamento de Dados; Centralidade no Usuário; Tomada de Decisão Sustentável; Integração e Adaptação dos Agentes; Relutância dos Agricultores em Compartilhar Dados; Rejeição de Tecnologias pelos Consumidores; Distribuição de Riscos e Benefícios; Limitações de Infraestrutura Digital; e, Educação e Conhecimento dos Agricultores.
